The agreement between you and Fundy when you use the platform. Written to be read.
About these terms
Fundy is operated in New Zealand. By creating an account or placing a bid you accept these terms and the fundraiser rules. If you do not accept them, do not use Fundy.
Fundy is a brand by Ashtro Limited, 3 Moenui Avenue, Orewa, New Zealand.
We may change these terms. If a change matters to you, we will email you before it takes effect.
Your account
You must be 18 or older to hold an account. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your sign in. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
What Fundy is, and is not
Fundy is a platform that connects organisations running fundraisers with the people who back them. Fundy is not a party to the agreement between a club and a sponsor.
- The club sets the spots, the reserves and the conditions.
- The club invoices the sponsor and delivers what it promised.
- Fundy does not hold funds on kit fundraisers, and does not guarantee any outcome.
Fees
Kit fundraisers are free while we test and improve Fundy. On a team fundraiser Fundy keeps 5 percent of what comes in, GST included, and that covers card processing and administration costs. This may change in the future as Fundy scales.
Payments
Card payments run through Stripe. Fundy never sees or stores your card number. Stripe's own terms apply to that payment.
Content you upload
You keep ownership of your own information and content. You give Fundy permission to display that information and content on the platform for as long as your fundraiser or account is live. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to use.
Liability
Fundy is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Fundy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for a club failing to deliver, or for a sponsor failing to pay. While a kit fundraiser runs on bids, Fundy is not a bidding marketplace and handles no money for any fundraiser that uses bids.
Ending your account
You can close your account any time from My account. Fundy will check your fundraisers and sponsors have been settled before closing. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the fundraiser rules.

These terms and this website are governed by New Zealand law.
